Just arrived home from the paradise island of Zakynthos, Greece last night. I’ll write more about our trip there at some later stage (after we get the photos back) but I’ll say this much… it was just about the best holiday I’ve had in my life, and the most beautiful place I’ve seen in the world so far (and I’ve seen some damn fine/beautiful places in my time…). We went on a day trip to the north of the island (where we saw the Blue Caves and the famous ship wreck and swam in the crystal clear sea there), plus a day trip to Kephalonia (the beautiful island where Captain Correlli’s Mandolin was filmed) – which, quite easily qualifies as the cleanest, most stuningly gorgeous, and most amazingly picturesque place I have had the pleasure of spending a day in.
Anyway… as I said, I’ll blog more about it later… Have to collect my thoughts! … and some of the most amazing photos I’ve ever taken.
