New Year.
New Home.
New Life.
New Job.
New Journal.

Hi everybody… I’m back again.

Now I’m living in Dundalk, I’ve decided to start this journal afresh. Not much to say in this first entry except to mention the Dundalk Blog which has been doing the rounds in work. Basically it’s a web site that featured names of (alleged) drug dealers and IRA members in Dundalk and exposed certain ‘goings-on’ in Vodafone’s head-quarters here. The lads in security have a printed copy of it (before it was censored by the author and subsequently removed from the blogdrive.com server). It’s now available for perusal in it’s new guise (as the ‘El Paso Times’) at: http://dundealgan.blogspot.com/. Of more interest to Dundalk dwellers than just about anyone else… I’m sure. Some of it is quite hilarious still.

Today I’m updating a client’s web site (nice work if you can get it at 70 quid an hour) and chilling out listening to/watching the Metallica: Live Sh!t: Binge & Purge (San Diego Concert) DVD. Fun, huh?

Well howdy do! Good to see you back once again. Suprised you hacked off all your old journal entries. Hope you enjoy your new life.

I thought you were a bar man?

Not any more, no. I now work in Harvey Norman in Dundalk and live just around the corner from there.

Hi Niall, congratulations on all the improvements, long may they last!

Oh and welcome back.

By the way, my journal is now mirrored on my web site at http://niallok.com/Rant, thanks to some nifty ASP scripting.

Life is good… well… improving. ( /me shakes fist at Ulster Bank )

Having been to college in dundalk I know just where that is :)
Good to see your back.

live long and prosper Niall! :D

Welcome back to the journaling. Things seem to be going pretty well in Harvey Normans, although that mp3 player you sold me broke, and I’ve had to return it to Creative. (Damn you!) I’m sure it’ll be sorted soon anyway.

mr_angry… it was under warranty,- I hope you brought it back to Harvey Norman and let our own technician deal with Creative on your behalf instead of going to the hassle yourself…

Yup. And thank you to the helpful, but sadly un-Australian Harvey Norman’s staff. :p

Unfortunately it’ll be a couple of weeks before its back in my hands, whether or not it can be repaired. :(
